The company’s production site needed to be expanded and a visitor area added. Blumer Lehmann was therefore tasked with the architecture, with the architecture, timber construction and construction management of a new building for a production site and factory visitors.
The Breitenmoser Fleischspezialitäten company had seen strong growth over a short space of time. New stores were being opened and the number of employees was multiplying.
A new building was planned to provide the extra space needed and to create better conditions for working in production.
Our planning team designed a three-storey industrial building that accommodates the production and the world of experience. We were in charge of implementing the entire project, starting with the preliminary studies and continuing to the architectural designs, project planning, planning, tender process and execution. Our services also included site management and coordinating the different trades involved in construction, as well as producing and assembling the timber builds.
The new factory building has a green flat roof and a footprint of 42 x 25 m, and is just across the street from the previous production site.
