Wooden silos

Wooden silos with tradition
Blumer Lehmann is a timber construction company with tradition. We have been working with wood as a construction material and developing innovative building solutions since 1875. Wood, a renewable material, is ideal for the storage of salt and other bulk solids as it does not conduct heat and thereby prevents the formation of condensation in the silo. In addition, it naturally protects against corrosion. Significant progress in the structural engineering of wooden and steel constructions in recent years has made silo volumes of up to 1,000 m³ possible.
