Three-storey school building with connecting building

This is the third extension that Blumer Lehmann has planned and erected as general contractor for École Internationale Mondorf-les-Bains using a modular timber construction. The timber modules come from our own production facilities at Erlenhof and Großenlüder.

As with the modular timber structures ‘Bâtiment E’ and ‘Bâtiment D’, the time frame for producing and erecting the timber modules for this public building was a challenge for the project team at our Luxembourg site.

The three-storey modular timber structure ‘Bâtiment G’ extension building with connecting building as a prefabricated construction has a floor area of 2,830 m2 and consists of 66 prefabricated room modules. It includes offices, classrooms, meeting rooms, sanitary facilities and utility rooms. The building can be accessed via a staircase. Both buildings are also accessible by lift via the connecting building between Bâtiment D and Bâtiment G. Since September 2023, Bâtiment G has provided the international school with more space for school activities and administration.
