Modular building for Ettelbrück primary school
Ettelbrück, LU
The new modular school building was erected on the old swimming pool within six months.
The facade of the new school building is made of open spruce and fir wood slats.
Blumer Lehmann realized the school project as the general contractor according to the plans of Thillens & Thillens.
The green roof has a positive effect on the indoor climate of the classrooms below, as the evaporation capacity of the plant layer provides cooling in summer. In winter, on the other hand, the green roof structure acts as thermal insulation.
The innovative modular school building for the Ettelbrück primary school is being constructed on the old swimming pool.
The two-story modular building offers four classrooms and modern sanitary facilities on 470 m².
The innovative modular timber construction was combined with a filigree and therefore space-saving steel staircase.
