Wooden round silos 3 x 400m³, St.Gallen-Neudorf

Two of these three large silos are equipped with top automation. This means that the loading process is fully automated and linked to the weighing of the silos. As soon as the gritting vehicle drives under the salt silo, the system recognises the truck with the permissible payload. The loading process is started from the truck cab by means of a transponder. The foldable windsock is automatically lowered to the correct height and the slide opens. As soon as the preset filling height is reached in the gritting vehicle, the slider is closed and the loading process ends. Monitoring can be done conveniently via a screen installed in front of the driver's cab.
