The grit silo installation in Bayreuth consists of a new wooden silo, a brine generator and a glassfibre reinforced plastic (GRP) storage tank.

The round wooden silo is mounted on a cubic and hot-dip galvanised steel substructure and has a capacity of 300m3. The facility is additionally supplemented with a Quanto 24 brine generator and a brine storage tank made of glass fibre (GRP) with a volume of 40m3.
