Prix Lignum 2024: Sports buildings win national prize for timber construction
Our reusable sports buildings won a national prize in the timber construction category at the Prix Lignum 2024. The prestigious prize honours outstanding and sustainable timber buildings and highlights the importance of wood in modern architecture.
Five regional juries selected 39 projects from 583 entries, including 24 in the ‘Timber Buildings’ category. The gold prize went to the recyclable sports buildings in Zurich, in which we played a key role. Blumer Lehmann planned and built this exceptional timber construction as general contractor.
We would like to thank the jury, our partners and everyone involved for their trust and valuable collaboration!
