Cambridge Mosque opens

A mosque of impressive proportions
Worshippers in Cambridge, England, finally have more space as of spring 2019 after praying in confined spaces for some time.
The dimensions of the new Cambridge Mosque, a meeting point for the Muslim community, are impressive. The 4,000-square-metre prayer room can accommodate 1,000 worshippers. The mosque also comprises a café, two apartments and gardens. The architectural concept was developed by London-based firm Marks Barfield Architects.
