Temporary constructions in Baden, Wohlen and Aargau

The three sports halls at the Baden, Wohlen and Aarau sites were commissioned as part of a tendering process and built in two stages. The sports halls are prefabricated, with the intention being to provide the three schools with the temporary space they require. Although these are temporary structures, the requirements in terms of building services, building physics, noise and acoustics were identical to those for permanent buildings. The hall’s roof structure consists of roof trusses resting on supports. The supports are integrated into the wall panels to comply with the construction requirements of the Swiss Federal Office of Sport, BASPO (flush walls with no protruding structural elements).
