Salt silo facility in Bern’s Wankdorf district
In 2015 in Haigerloch, Germany, we built the largest silo facility in Europe with a volume of 750 m3. Now we’ve outdone ourselves. The three silos in the new salt silo facility in Bern’s Wankdorf district each hold 900 cubic metres of salt. We also created another world first: a 78-metre-long conveyor system with a conveying capacity of up to 50 tonnes per hour.
